That I Might Know Christ…
Greenview Bible Camp is a Christian Camp and Retreat Center in Eastern Lancaster County. Our vision is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with young people and to challenge and assist them to grow in the Lord. We host a variety of summer camp programs and also rent our facilities for overnight retreats and events.
We are currently accepting camper registrations for all 3 day camps and our 2 weeks of overnight camp. We are praying that we will be able to hold our overnight weeks by the time those dates come. If we are still in the Yellow Phase by those weeks we will modify those sessions to run like an extended day camp since we would not be able to hold overnight camp.
Every year we have a Campership Fund that helps us provide financial assistance for families in need. We have had generous people give over the years and would love to see this assistance continue to grow.

Registration is open for the Summer of 2020. Register early and receive $15 off the cost.
WE ARE planning on running our summer programs here at Greenview as long as Lancaster County moves into the Yellow Phase.
So what does this mean? This means that while we will be operating summer camp, it may look quite different than what we have done in the past. Due to the suggestions, requirements and regulations, we will be implementing several camp wide policies for the summer.
A quick summary of some of the policies that we will implanting this summer are:
Group Size – needs to be 25 people or less – campers will be part of one ‘group’, or ‘pod’, of approximately 15 kids and 3 counselors for the duration of the week. We will not get together as a big group but have 3-4 of these smaller groups. Each group will have a designated check in location. We will for these groups as best we can, based around family units, friends, or carpooling families, in order to limit the exposure to the masses. We will also have no large group closing programs at this point.
Health Precautions – in order to best provide a healthy environment while at camp we taking every camper’s temperatures at the beginning of each day, there will also be a questionnaire for parents every day. Campers with a fever will not be allowed to attend. We will have scheduled facility and activity sanitizing and cleaning throughout the day and have hand sanitizer available at different locations throughout the camp. We have moved our nurse’s office into a separate room in the ground floor of the lodge in order to isolate and attend to any possible concerns that may develop during the course of the day. We will also be getting rid of the water coolers and providing bottled water for the kids every day. We would as that your child not bring their own bottle from home.
We will regularly update our policies related to the corona virus based on most recent information from the CDC. You will receive a copy of our updated policies with your Medical Form by email approximately two weeks before your child is scheduled to come to camp.
So, what now? This means that you can go ahead and register online for your desired week of summer camp! The ‘early registration discount’ has been extended until June 1st. We will also be adjusting our non-refundable deposit policy. If for some reason, we are not allowed to hold camp this summer all payments will be eligible for a full refund. We will be issuing these refunds as we are able to financially. You will also have the option to apply your payment towards next years summer camp fee, or gift it as a donation to the ministry of the camp. We understand that we as a ministry, are not the only ones in financial uncertainty during this time and want to do our best to help our camp families out!
